Amed Kunara Guest House

We stayed at Kunara Guesthouse whilst we completed our diving course in Amed and really enjoyed our stay. The room was clean and the staff friendly and helpful. The guesthouse is also close to lovely cafes, restaurants and bars.

A great Guest House in Amed. I booked because my friend recommended it to me, and I’m really happy I did. Close to the Main Street, but enough distance no to hear the noise of the Amed traffic. Room is big, bed is comfortable and the bathroom is good. Everything was clean and ready for my early check in. The staff is very friendly and helpful. I went there to do a freediving course, and my last day the course was finishing at 1 pm when the check out time is at 12. I asked a late check out and the told me that it was okay to finish my course and come back to take hot shower (I need it) and pack my bag. Really appreciate it.

It’s located the town, very convenient. The room was incredible, big, spacious, comfortable and clean. They give you breakfast which is much appreciated. There are lots of warungs and cafes around. 100% would stay there again.

Lovely bright homestay in a central location in Amed. Bed and pillows were comfortable. Huge walk in shower. Breakfast is served on the balcony and is made up of tea or coffee, scrambled eggs or banana pancake, mixed fruit. ATM is 10’ walking; Amed beach is 2’ walking. Just around the corner there are warungs, a pharmacy, grocery stores and shops. Big plus: the owner is very kind. She offered to help us with snorkeling equipments, day trips, motorbikes etc.

It gets loud at night as in the village there are tons of roosters.

The third time I have stayed here and yet again I had a great experience. Friendly owner. Large, clean, comfy room. Good location just off the main road and within walking distance to many warungs.
