Brilliant View Home Stay

Am besten war die Lage. Wir konnten alle Wanderungen von unserer Unterkunft starten und auch Ella Stadt haben wir nach einem kurzen Fußmarsch auf den Bahngleisen entlang erreichen können. Das Frühstück war sehr lecker, die Besitzer sehr freundlich. Man kann die Küche und den Kühlschrank benützen, großer Gemeinschaftsraum. Man fühlt sich wie zu Hause.

Die Zimmer und das Bad sind klein, das Bett etwas schmal. Der Wasserdruck etwas wenig und das Waschbecken leicht verstopft.

We loved the location as there was a view of a waterfall. We also got lucky and were able to watch moneys eating avocado's on our balcony! The hotel is closer to Ella rock than the highest Reeth though, so that's a real plus! For the price, this place is absolutely fantastic and the lady who runs it with her husband is really sweet!

The only downside to the location is it's about a 15-20 minute hilly walk to the main high street - we personally enjoyed being away from the hustle and bustle. The problem is that Tuc Tucs are very expensive in Ella, so it was too expensive for us to get them everyday to our accomodation.

A nice home stay which offered us a comfortable stay and delicious breakfast. The view was great and the beds were comfortable with mosquito nets. The owner was very nice person who assisted us in all possible ways. My mother had some health issues upon arrival and the owner helped us to get a pressure monitor device from the neighbourhood at the middle of the night. Really appreciate his kindness. Thank you :)

The water pressure in the bathroom could be better but, not a big issue though as this is very common in most of the home stays we stayed in Sri lanka :)

Très bien situé avec une vue magnifique. Possibilité de faire les visites à pied depuis le logement sans problème. Gare à 10/15 minutes à pied. Restaurants à proximité. Chambre simple, propre et confortable. Moustiquaire présente et ventilateur. Pas de clim. Petit déjeuner très bon et copieux.

Il faisait un peu chaud même avec le ventilateur. Peu de communication avec les propriétaires (pas d’infos sur les visites, les déplacements, dîners sur place possibles dont nous avons appris l’existence en partant) c’est dommage.

Pretty steep hill to walk into town... not too bad on scooter

La struttura è in una posizione panoramica, con spazi comuni ben tenuti e piacevoli, compresa la terrazza sul tetto. La stanza che abbiamo preso in 2 era una tripla, per 2 va bene ma per 3 mi sembra piccola. Dista pochi metri dal Pinnacle Hotel che permette anche a chi non alloggia lì di pagare un ticket e passare qualche ora in una meravigliosa piscina a sfioro con vista mozzafiato su Ella Gap.

Come già indicato in altre recensioni, non c’è spazio per sistemare la roba. Basterebbero dei ganci e un paio di mensole per migliorare la situazione (dato che non c’è spazio per mobili veri e propri). I materassi sono un po’ duri, mio marito ha patito parecchio. Due mattine di seguito i proprietari hanno inspiegabilmente iniziato a far rumore molto presto. Una mattina parlando al telefono davanti alle camere alle 6:30 e la mattina dopo trascinando mobili alle 5:00 😴
