Perfekt für den Rückflug

Struttura pulita, stanza accogliente e spaziosa, con un bel balcone. Ottima posizione per chi ha l aereo la mattina presto, a due minuti di macchina dall’aeroporto.

Proche aéroport

Appartement pas très propre, frigo sale, poils dans la salle de bain, invasions de fourmis rouges dans la cuisine.

Rui was exceedingly kind and accommodating, providing on last-minute request a service that I had completely failed to actually book, and he still only charged me the usual rate for it. He also personally let me in and showed me around which was a very nice touch as many hosts just direct you to a keysafe by message and leave you to figure everything out for yourself. The room was clean and very comfortably furnished, the property being very well situated close to the airport and the number 16 bus from the airport to central Faro stops directly outside - I looked down on the bus stop from my balcony. In the end though I did not catch the bus but hired one of the Bolt electric scooters with very little faff (you need the app but there is no need to upload photo ID like in the UK) and there is a charming little semi-rural cycle path along the south side of the railway line that you can use to scoot into Faro, with a level crossing provided shortly before you reach the railway station.

The room could use better curtains - they are gauzy, more like net curtains than proper ones. I felt the need to turn off all the lights before getting undressed for bed because it seemed I would be plainly visible to any onlookers (although there aren't any buildings directly opposite and the room is up on the third floor so the chances of being viewed from the street or from another building were not high, but they were definitely not zero either!). You will probably want to bring a sleep mask if you don't want to be woken by early morning light.

Nah am Flughafen, mit Taxi/Uber oder Bolt super erreichbar. Für eine Übernachtung bei Ankunft und Abreise super. Netter Kontakt mit dem Besitzer. Sauberes Zimmer, groß und bequem. Alles tip top.

Schöne Küche, aber Wasser, Tee wäre nett gewesen. Eine Kaffee Maschine ist vorhanden. Nur was für Schwarztrinker.
