Manaeva lodge

Super convenient place to stay when waiting for a plane that leaves later at night. The owner of the property was very welcoming and accommodated us even though we showed up on the wrong day! They have a shuttle that can pick you up and drop you off at the airport. I would definitely stay again.

I'm so confused about the high ratings on this property. My room didn't look like the photos, I was directly adjacent to the shared kitchen (concerning for my privacy), and there wasn't any way to lock my door (extremely unsettling as a solo female traveler). Attaching pictures I took which show how different bathroom situation was as compared to the listing. I was thankfully only there for one night, which I spent uncomfortable and on edge the whole time.

Reva was the best host. she arranged multiple pick ups for a 5am arrival, 3pm arrival and 10 30 arrival. she has access to larger rental cars at a reasonable cost. the guest stay was comfortable and a great introduction to Tahiti for our family.

Great for the money (relative to a Tahiti stay).

The owner Reva was super-nice and accommodating. She personally picked us up from and took us too the airport which was very close by. Reva also had some fresh fruit and juice brought to us when we arrived at the lodge which was a nice touch. Also helped us with additional taxi arrangements. The lodge itself was cute with a common area you could enjoy and make some coffee in the morning. Thank you, Reva!

My husband and I booked a 1-night stay at Manaeva Lodge before our flight back home from Tahiti. We reached out to the lodge ahead of time to request late check-out but never heard back. When we arrived, no one was at the desk, and the waiting area looked disheveled. We eventually got into our suite, which was clean and cool, and the proprietor brought us flower leis and fresh fruit, which were really lovely. But when it came time to go, we were not provided with the promised late check-out, and instead had to scramble out of our room, and take a cab, (rather than the free shuttle) to the airport, hours early. Ultimately, a somewhat disappointing conclusion to our stay in beautiful French Polynesia!

I had a comfortable night at Manaeva Lodge! The place is very clean and nice and very close to the airport. The owner was also very kind, she kindly changed my room to a bigger one with a view when I told her that I was not able to lock the door of my initial room. She also kindly took me to the airport. Her dog was probably the best part of the stay!

This lodge had all the charm and local flavor that we were hoping for, including a very accommodating and kind staff. The manager helped us find a late night dinner delivery service, she brought beautiful fruit and juice in the morning and even let us borrow a phone charger...the shuttle to and from the airport is a huge bonus, too (especially if she brings her little dog Nanni along!)

Pick up and drop off from airport and very close. Nice people, good breakfast, clean, comfortable.
