La Casa del Rio B&B

The hotel consists of small houses in a beautiful garden, close to the river. Even though close to the city center of Puyo you have the feeling of being in the rainforest already. You hear many birds and the water from the river in the room. The breakfast area is outdoors and lovely, also great for working. The breakfast is prepared fresh and very tasty. You can walk to the city center in 30 minutes taking the beautiful paseo turistico along the river, lined by forest.

It is like you are in paradise! Great and very clean room and the view from the balcony at the garden, river and jungle is amazing. Elisabeth is so friendly! We gonna miss her and her husband and the friendly dog Blue. We had the best breakfasts during our 5 month trip. Great to hang out in breakfast area and look for birds during the day and also to play some pool/biljart in the relaxing area. The pool is really clean and big enough for a good swim. We loved it so much we stayed for more nights!

Great hospitality and great ambience. Will stay here again when in Ecuador.

We had a great stay at La Casa Del Rio - in search of peace and quiet and this place exceeded our expectations, plus a wonderful breakfast, best coffee in Ecuador, great hosts. You won’t be disappointed
