Good staff

Not clean in the bathroom and the room

Breakfast was ok, staff (one person) very helpful and kind, location near the city centre but in a relatively quiet road. Good restaurant just nearby.

The rooms were definitely not similar to the ones displayed in the photos. Maybe they were that way when brand new, but now the lacking of maintenance took its toll: rooms were dirty and dark, the bathroom was in a very poor condition.

Location is good

Bed sheets, pillow cases, and towels were extremely dirty. I saw lizard in the room. Bathroom was kind of dirty.

During our one-week stay at Arik's homestay in Ubud, our experience was a mix of positives and areas for improvement. The room we had was decent and served its purpose. The standout feature was the bed, which was exceptionally comfortable, ensuring a good night's rest. The breakfast provided, while basic, was aligned with the cost paid for our stay. It might not have been extravagant, but it fulfilled our needs and allowed us to kick-start our days of exploration. Speaking of which, the homestay's location was undoubtedly a highlight. Its proximity to various points of interest made it a convenient starting point for our daily adventures. We were able to easily explore the charming streets of Ubud and immerse ourselves in its cultural offerings.

However, there were a couple of aspects that could have been better. The bathroom was one area that left room for improvement. A more thorough cleaning would have been appreciated to enhance the overall hygiene and comfort of the space. Additionally, the towels provided were quite shabby, which was a bit disappointing and didn't match the overall experience we expected.

Balinese style rooms Excellent yoga studio and Café two doors down from homestay. First room smelled really damp and they moved us immediately to a much nicer room after first night.

Wasn't as close to town as I expected from reviews but lots of facilities in the area

Staff was always ready to assist you with anything you needed or with any questions you had.
