The hosts make every effort to offer a yummy breakfast and snacks.

Only the lake view from the top floor is nice, because there are roofs from ugly old dwellings just below the third floor. It would be nice if it had direct access to the lake, but you can take a 5 minute shortcut via the neighboring hostel backyard to the lake (see pictures).

We loved Dayby Day! The rooms were simple, clean and comfortable. The staff were friendly. And the breakfast and complementary afternoon tea treats were delicious. The location is a little further from the centre of town, but an easy walk or drive.

It felt like we were staying with family instead of a hotel. Every morning an amazing and creative breakfast, and every afternoon latte and a homemade bakery treat. The owners were extremely helpful picking us up from the pier on arrival. They also kept our luggage on the day we left and then drove it down to the pier so we could catch the bus after we did some extra sightseeing that day. Comfortable clean rooms, with an amazing view with a little veranda on the lake side. Premium Korean bath amenities (especially nice since most hotels in Taiwan are no longer providing them), comfy down and feather pillows. Definitely would stay here again and recommend.

The Daybyday Moon Homestay was one of our favorite homestays in Taiwan. Delicious breakfasts, and a wonderful snack every afternoon, made our stay extra special. It is a family run business and they graciously helped us with transportation and tourist information. We highly recommend staying at Daybyday Moon Homestay.
