"Exceptional"

Everything, great hosts, they made us feel like being at home . Pool is just awesome with a spectacular view. Room is spacious with direct access to the pool. Breakfast was cooked fresh and lots of variety and accomodating for dietary needs.

An absolutely perfect stay — it was a birthday weekend gift for my mom! The welcome was exceptional: warm, attentive hosts who were always discreet and never intrusive. You instantly feel at ease, like at home, with that extra touch of elegance and generosity that truly makes a difference. The pool is stunning, perfectly maintained, with a magnificent view over the Douro Valley. A breathtaking setting, peaceful and relaxing. Breakfast is a real highlight: generous, varied, with high-quality products — everything is fresh and beautifully presented. Every detail is thoughtfully considered, and the overall atmosphere truly invites relaxation. I recommend it without hesitation, and I will gladly come back!

"Incredible play to stay for a Douro valley visit experience."

Outstanding experience. Property and rooms are well kept to a 5 star hotel standard. Views from the rooms are incredible, overlooking the Douro river and the vineyards across, which is also the view from the fabulous infinity pool. Hosts are amazing. So gracious with information on local things to see and do and restaurants to visit. Had the best meal in Portugal based on their recommendations. We would Definately return and highly recommend.

The cleanliness of the entire home, the house and view was above our expectations, an exceptional breakfast, the hosts were so kind and generous. Our bedroom was like a 5 star hotel with all our requests granted (large bed).

David, the host, was really helpful with everything. The view is amazing and the house is super comfortable!

It's very isolated (which is good), but without a car is hard to get by. Supermarkets and access to ATM is not easy.

Location was out of this world and the view of the Douro valley exquisite. Breakfast was very good and the scrambled eggs were excellent.
