The young man at the front desk was extremely helpful with checking in, carrying bags to our room, agreeing to put bottles of water in the freezer as our room fridge had no freezer, and allowed me to use the desk in the lobby to work at night. He helped make our experience so much more enjoyable. The room size was large, there was a kettle, the lobby was attractive, the location was excellent.

It seemed odd to us that there was no hand soap or hand towels provided. I learned later that Taiwanese don't normally use soap to wash their hands, so that was why soap wasn't included. I would suggest staff notify guests when they check in about the soap, towels, and that housekeeping are not provided. Bags for the trash cans should be replaced when full bags are placed in the hallway as requested. There should be a table lamp where the kettle, etc are.
