Grandma was nice, room was big, bed was decent, toilet and shower worked well, nice homely feeling. Location is not bad, slightly more isolated than some other hostels but a short walk away from the lake.

Room not soundproof, room felt quite humid, aircon didn't seem to work well (thankfully there was a standing fan). I asked if I could store my luggage if I checked out early and the owner told me to leave it in the living room, which wasn't a very reassuring spot. In hindsight, I could have asked if she could keep it in a more secure place. (You need your key to enter both the 'hotel' and enter your room.) When I came back to get my luggage, the owner wasn't there but thankfully her granddaughter(?) appeared after I rang the doorbell a few times -- I'm not sure if they have a schedule to make sure someone is available 100% of the time.

民宿地點相當好找，有專屬的停車位，距離水社碼頭也很近，阿嬤人長得非常可愛也很親切，房間相當乾凈又大間，如果下次再去日月潭會想再住這！！

接待的長輩真的很親切，已來住第二次，還是很喜歡這種親切像家的感覺。

Grandma Yu is charming and helpful, although she doesn't speak any English. Room is large and convenient to all the attractions of Sun Moon Lake.

Very nice and accommodating owner, very spacious and clean room ! A coupon is provided for a nice breakfast place near and starts at 6:30 !
