Easy to find & access secure guesthouse in great part of Kaohsiung, close to eateries, public transport, easy walk to Pier 2 rejuvenated waterfront area & Hamasen Railway Cultural Park. Modern comfortable communal facilities on ground floor, quirky decor. I met Sunny the lovely proprietor. She spoke decent English - great for monolingual chumps like me! She helped direct me to a local laundromat. My room was the Superstar Lounge - very comfortable, spacious, big windows, great lighting. Comfy bed, great furnishings, TV with streaming channels, air purifier, good air-con.

The property has pretty much everything you need - either in the downstairs area or in individual rooms, except .. if you need wheelchair accessibility. I'm able bodied, so I was fine with the stairs. The only thing that would've made it better for me would be a fridge in the room rather than downstairs, and an on-site washing machine. I was happy enough to use the stairs and go around the corner for clean clothes.
