Good location, very clean room with decent size.

A bit noisy at night before midnight as it's located by a busy main street. We found mosquitoes in our room. Owner gave us a small electronic bat and asked us to use to catch and kill mosquitoes ourselves, which was pretty hard for someone who never used such a tool. Of course, we could catch or kill any mosquitoes. We each had nearly 20 mosquitoe bites after a night 😞

The location was good. An easy 11 min bus ride from the train station, lots of shops and restaurants nearby, an 8 minute walk to the night market. The room was one of the biggest we had during our 3 wk stay in Taiwan. It was clean and the bathroom was nice, too. Fridge, bottled water, TV, all included as well. No breakfast or common area.

Just an fyi. The homestay is located above a lottery ticket sales shop, so you have to pay attention to the address or you might walk right past it. Because the 1st floor is a shop, subsequent entries into the homestay have to be done from the back of the bldg. When we arrived, we just walked into the shop and the store proprietor quickly led us to the back and behind a curtain where we filled out the paperwork, got keys, were shown where the back entrance was, etc.
