Blue Ocean 微藍海岸 海景電梯旅宿 - 近東大門夜市

Facing the shore and only a short walk away from the local food market. We were given a box of snacks when we arrived and the hotel has a free 24h water and coffee station. We parked for free on the street, right by the entrance.

The only thing was that the shower leaked, so our bathroom mat got all wet.

The bacony with amazing view. Everything is cute and the host is so friendly and snacks are provided so good.

Toilet in the room is not well cleaned Sometime hard to find the reception for help.

1. The morning shift staff, xiao man, was very friendly, patient and helpful. 2. The location and interior design of the minsu.

1. The evening shift staff was extremely unfriendly, cold and rude which is unusual for Taiwanese service staff. 2. The minsu has a weird policy of guest having to top up NTD300 for each piece of extra bed linen request eg NTD300 for an extra pillow, NTD300 for an extra blanket, etc. This is pretty absurd as I had never encountered or heard of such charges throughout my experience travelling in Taiwan for the past 15 years. 3. The lightning in the toilet is really too dim. 4. The "complimentary" breakfast is really just a brown bag of 3 small pastry although they have a fully equipped kitchen and pretty dining area. They should resume their breakfast service asap since Taiwan has essentially lifted all restrictions.
