Yataku 雅德背包客舍

Yataku provides an affordable and clean room with a comfortable bed, private shower, TV, A/C, and Wifi. The rooms and bathrooms have always been very clean when I arrive, the owner is friendly, and the beds are very soft and comfortable for a weary traveler. It is located in the center of the city, so there are many shops and eateries nearby. I will continue to book Yataku when visiting Puli.

The location was great in central Puli near many great restaurants. The proprietor's English was great and check in was easy after I gave him a phone call. The room was spacious and the air conditioner worked great. The towel was single use, which was a bit strange.

There were no windows in the room. For the price this was okay.

Touring alone on a bicycle. Safe place to keep my bike, and spacious room for even 2 pax.

Location is great as it's near Puli Bus Station. Staff was responsive and helpful by waiting for me and letting me check-in earlier.

Hard to find. No proper towels; hotel provided only disposable ones. Staff became unresponsive after I paid. TV console area is very dusty. There were mosquitoes. My room is just beside the road so it was very noisy whenever a vehicle drove by, even late into the night, so we didn't sleep well. Overpriced for such a backpacker hotel.

The host is nice & polite. Fast response. Room is very big and all basic amenities was provided. Very near to the puli bus station.

My suite was spacious, with a bathroom and shower. The bed was comfortable, and I enjoyed having plenty of shelf space to store my clothing. The room also came equipped with a desk and TV set, and I enjoyed nice touches such as candies and tea as well. I found the location to be very convenient, in a walkable district with several nearby restaurants and shops. The innkeeper was very friendly and welcoming, and recommended some good places to eat.

The towel provided was a thin, disposable one; although effective, I would have preferred a proper towel. There were a few mosquitoes in my room during the night, perhaps they could have provided an electric swatter to help with this. The location is slightly difficult to find, as there is only a small sign and it appears mostly as an unmarked door next to a Pizza Hut.
