Oak Retreat by Yosemite National Park

AMAZING stay between the Sequoia and the Yosemite parks. Ellen and Neil are great hosts. They made us feel welcome and they had plenty of useful info around the area and the Yosemite park. Plenty of space and everything was extremely clean and organized.

We loved staying at Neil’s and Ellen’s House. They were very welcoming. The best hosts we ever had. Everything was clean and cozy. The Terrace was perfect for having a quiet morning. We enjoyed it a lot.

Beautiful private home close to Yosemite South Gate. Very calm and clean. Lots of high-quality ammenities. The hosts were really friendly and helpful, gave us good advice for our travels to Yosemite.

Everything was amazing and very private, we just didn’t realize its private housing and you share the house with the hosts. It wasn’t an issue though.

Everything was just PERFECT. We truly recommend this place to anyone, who's planning a visit to Yosemite NP. The hosts, Ellen and Neil, were so lovely, friendly, and sweet. They gave us plenty of recommendations and updates on the area and Yosemite park, which we visited during our stay. They made us feel BETTER THAN AT HOME, and made the atmosphere in their lovely home super cozy, friendly, and so positive. They made us feel welcome 100% of the time, with perfect portion of privacy and we had no feeling of being 'visitors' any of the time, rather than it being 'common home of all of us' - SO NICE! :) The area around is lovely, you really feel connected to the nature and not feeling the rush of a city or busy roads. The facilities were more than satisfying. Very nice bedroom, really comfortable bed (we slept like babies after the hikes:)), fully equipped kitchen, our own fully equipped bathroom with soft towels and nice lavender soap - and the additional toothbrushes in case we forgot ours (that was a very nice touch :)), beautiful seating indoor area, and gorgeous outdoor seating, where we would enjoy our breakfasts with the sound of birds singing. If we could, we'd give 15 out of 10 points to this place and to our hosts. And if we're coming back to the Yosemite area, this place would be definitely on top of our list. Thank you very much, Ellen & Neil, for this amazing 'home away from home' experience. :)

Everything. Our host was very nice. Clean bathroom, room. There was a possibility to wash our clothes.
