Convenient location and comfortable bed. Access to a refrigerator and freezer.

Bait and switch from website listing to actual facilities: can't park in the drive but around the corner a little ways, can't use laundry, no dining table area only a couch for 2, and free toiletries-stingy bottles empty or nearly so. Also didn't appreciate the hosts routinely in and out of our space especially late at night. They had all day while we were out to do what they needed to but they started laundry (on our side next to bedrooms) around 8:30pm, with change over to dryer mid way, followed by loud dryer buzzer going off a couple of times around 11:30pm, followed by the hosts coming in yet again to collect. First night there we arrived around 11pm, dryer going. We were very respectful of the noise level of our talking. Around 1:30am I was awakened by noises and movement outside my door. In the morning we found multiple new signs of what we could and couldn't do: wash dishes (no dish soap and not replenished while we were there), label our food (no labeling materials or markers), remove trash when full (no bags to replace used ones), and no use of laundry (after website said there would be). All reasonable requests but should have been posted prior to our arrival, which was about 8 hours after check in. They requested we leave shoes by the door but didn't sweep grit off and under the beds hadn't been swept in a while, an issue for those of us with feet issues. They keep the dog's food on our side of the door, which wasn't locked. Could have been moved to their side for the duration of the stay. They woke me up around 7am the morning of checkout (standard 11am) cleaning the other guest room and presumably the bathroom. Not happy since I was driving around 500 miles and wanted to sleep in, didn't happen. They didn't have any wash cloths, their explanation was the previous guests had made a mess and they used the washcloths to clean it up.

The location was great

Honesty, we never stepped inside the home. Several days prior to our arrival I realized that I had booked our stay accidentally in a private residence. My husband and I decided to make the best of my mistake and view the experience as an opportunity to me people local to Rockville. We arrived to the neighborhood of the home and we're thrilled because of the location. However, the outside of the home was poorly kept. Consequently, we opted to look for other accomodations. I'm including several photos.

The hosts are nice and gentle. The location is really good close to Rockville downtown and many good restaurants.

There is a rude roommate who even makes phone calls by 10:30pm and talks loudly at night in the living room. This person is not educated and civilized at all! The bed is not good. As long as you move in the bed, it makes noise. The bed really needs fixing.
