Very friendly owner, she was helping us with everything

After being stuck in a stuffy room in Hanoi, we arrived one day earlier than planned at Cherry Homestay and felt so comfortable, that we didnt leave for the rest of the day. The view from the top floor rooms is magnificent, you can even see the dragon at mua cave. The location is also great, we walked into tam coc, mua cave, and trang an, but there is an option to rent a scooter. The family is incredibly kind, we truly enjoyed our stay!

As it lays in a rural area, there will be quite some noise at night from an orchestra of roosters and dogs.

House was in the country side with beautiful views on the rice fields and the river. Cherry (the owner) was very helpful and went above and beyond to make our stay comfortable. We liked the fact that we could walk/cycle to the town if we wanted to.

Everything, Cherry and Nam are amazing, the room is perfect with a great view, the shower is everything I needed and it was really clean! Cherry and her smile with her banana pancake is a must try! Nam is a taxi driver so he drove us to places and stayed with us, at the same price as Grab so just perfect! Thanks a lot for everything!!!

The host was so friendly and helpful with anything we needed. The breakfast was very good and they also offer a taxi service. Would definitely recommend!

Ubytování na krásném místě s výhledem na Hang Mua. Majitelé jsou velmi milí a přátelští lidé. Snídaně byla vydatná a chutná. Stejně tak večeře. Ubytování je čisté a postele pohodlné. Nahoře je teráska na které lze večer posedět. Byla nám propůjčena kola v ceně ubytování.

Staying at Cherry Homestay, along with my time in Ninh Binh, was a highlight of my trip. At check-in, the host, Nguyen, immediately took my breakfast order for the next morning. She also suggested a couple of activities in the area that I didn't yet have on my radar. Breakfast was delicious. I ordered the banana pancake--for all three days I stayed there. It was so good I couldn't make myself order anything else (though the other items on the menu all looked tasty). Laundry is available for a small fee. I dropped off my laundry before I left for the day, and it was ready when I came downstairs for breakfast the next morning. All my clothes smelled fresh and were folded. The room itself was comfortable. There was both a fan and a mini-split air conditioning unit. It also had a private bathroom. For those not familiar with this type of set-up, which is typical across Vietnam and many other parts of the world, FYI that the bathroom is a wet bathroom--i.e., the shower head isn't enclosed separately so the whole bathroom is treated as the shower. Also, the bathroom has heat lamps, which would be helpful especially if it's cold out. Nam, the host's husband, is a taxi driver and appears to charge about the same as Grab. I was there for two full days, and he was available to drive me all around the area. Other miscellaneous things to know: 1) No regular shoes in the house (there are plenty of flip-flops for guests to use) and 2) You may hear dogs and roosters at night and in the morning. However, between my ear plugs and the fan, I didn't hear them and slept very well. The host and her family were exceptionally kind and welcoming. I was so sad to leave. When I did depart, Nguyen, Nam, and one of their kids waived good-bye as my taxi drove away.

Cherry Homestay was just about perfect, and I would go back in a heartbeat. If I had to note anything "negative," the only things I would say are that a) my clothes were very slightly damp after laundry (I just laid them out on the bed and turned the fan on, so everything was fine, plus, I'm sure if I had mentioned it to the host, she would have addressed it) and b) the power went out around 5:00 am one morning (though this seemed to affect the whole neighborhood, so it wasn't anything the host had control over).

Appreciate the genuine hospitallity, breakfasts were joy, especially banana pancakes. Location was very convenient in the centre of all sights. Hosts always try to do their best

It was noisy, sometimes the sound comes from poor roof as the winds blows, sometimes the sound comes from cockrolls and dogs from neighbour. I understand that you cant influence the neighboors, but i think it essential for people to know
