Hải Phận Homestay

The room is spacious and clean, with AC and towels provided. It’s in the quiet street but walkable distance to the center. The rooftop terrace is amazing place to rest and enjoy. There is a secure place to park the motorbike, inside their yard. We were offered the room with a soft mattress, but we prefer the hard one, asian style, so we choose that one and it was great for our back! Homestay is run by a really nice family, we felt welcome the moment we came. Thank you for everything!

The owner and her whole family was so welcoming and kind! We only stayed for one night but we would have loved to stay longer. Her story really touched me so If you want to do something good and help this lovely family, stay there :) the house and the room was super clean and the room was big too. The terrace is big and very comfortable. She made us breakfast and give us good recommendations about Ha Giang. She doesn't speak any English but it was so easy to communicate with her via translater :) I'd definitely stay again!! Thank you for everything, hope to see you soon again!

Lovely family and tasty dinner and breakfast offered

The host is very friendly and accommodating. She doesn't speak English, but is very proficient with Google translate. She cooked a delicious dinner for us. When we asked her to book a bus to Hanoi for us, she even bargained the price down. Then she even went with us to wait for the correct bus since in Ha Giang, there isn't a bus station but rather the bus goes around the town picking people up at agreed locations. The place was clean and the house was very spacious for Vietnamese standards.

We had to figure out how to turn on the water heater (it is next to the bathroom light switch) since it was turned off when we arrived. The bed was unexpectedly hard.

Lovely clean room. The mattress was a bit too hard for my old bones! The mother and her daughter who host the homestay were very sweet and kind. They speak no English but love to communicate via Google translate. The bathroom was not en suite....as is made clear when you book. It is extremely cheap to stay here.

I found the mattress was too hard. It was the only thing I did not like.
