The place exudes a very homely feel. Service by Xiao Wang and wife was warm and welcoming. Xiao Wang accompanied my son to the doctor when he fell sick. It was very kind of him. Breakfast was very good, simple but full of flavour and well-cooked. Overall, well-deserving of its high ratings. Highly recommended if visiting Dali.

The floor and room took a while to heat up. The beds were comfortably warm though.

As soon as we entered the Z. Garden property, we knew we were going to be well taken care of. Our double room was spacious, impeccably clean, had a lovely view, and was complete with all of the amenities that tired travelers need: two pairs of slippers, a full toothbrush and toothpaste set, plenty of towels, fresh drinking water, and even a bathrobe, as there was a large bathtub. The bed was comfortable and warm and we could have slept for hours, if the delicious smells of home-cooked Chinese breakfast made daily by the lovey couple who hosted us. An immense thank you to Jiuan (sp?) and his sweet family.

Very lovely cozy place ! The common living room with dining tables are nicely decorated. Room very nice and spacious although will be good if they have extra bright light settings. Breakfast thoughtfully planned with different local breakfast items so we get to try over the 2 night stays. Washer machine available when needed. Host helpful in helping us buy some health supplements via Meituan and tips to explore the area. Location is about 10mins walk outside the Old ancient city so can easily access DiDi transport. The path to Old ancient city is lined with various eateries.

Was shocked by how well the room is. It is big and super clean. Walking distance from old town and easy to book didi also near supermarket. The boss even picked us up from bus stop

Excellent stay at Z garden. Within walking distance of Dali ancient city & easy to get food around. The host is very friendly and helpful. Excellent stay.

The young couple at the head of the inn are simply the best and communication in English has been the best so far in my 10 days in Yunnan. The place in itself is charming and comfortable with fantastic bedding, heated flooring, nice shower, delicious rose petal and other natural ingredients sachets to make tea in your room. Location is an oasis of calm compared to Dali old town pedestrian area. Plants, flowers and even a couple of fruit bearing lemon trees gives life to the courtyard.

Th owner is too humble and nice. He did everything for us to make us comfortable. In the early morning he made breakfast for us. He exchanged (dollar to RMB) our money . He called didi for us , made our payment so easy. we loved to stay there.
