Aroma Heaven Homestay

The owner was a nice young couple who live right next door. They were happy to help and picked us up from the taxi driver. The garden has several nice plants. We were given some tea when we arrived, which was a warm welcome.

During our stay, we happened to visit after a period of heavy rain, and unfortunately, we encountered a few issues with the room. There was a noticeable musty odor in the room, and the hot shower wasn't functioning. When we brought up the matter with the owner, we were informed that we needed to request them to turn it on again. In our view, the hot water supply should have been readily available without needing to ask. Additionally, we noticed some stains on the bed sheets, and they also had a musty smell. Given our sensitivity to odors, this was a concern for us. The living room is located right beside the room, and the walls are quite thin.

Everything was very smooth and adorable, the woman and the owner were so kind and helpful. She pour us tea without asking. she is very responsive. The view from the terrace is breathtaking. the toilet and room were very comfortable and clean. They gave us a free of charge night.

Nothing. They have pets and maybe it could be annoying for some.

The place is peaceful and the room has everything you need. The owners are nice.

Lovely family, delicious welcome tea, the sound of nature in the garden is incredible. I got up early so I could enjoy the quiet morning. I had everything I needed in the room and slept well. Also the train station is a short 5 minute walk downhill.

Very calm place, the hosts where very nice and welcoming, it's very silent in the night, the room was very clean and hot shower is available, I totally recommend this place

Wonderful family living there, they help with whatever they can. Big and clean room. The location is close to the railway station and the city center, nevertheless it doesn't feel like it due to all the trees and plants around. Yummy breakfast with traditional Sri Lankan food. You won't be hungry for a while after.
