We like stay there, all clean. House owner ar friendly and food was taste. It was very good 😊

Big clean room, good view, delicious breakfast. Hospitable family, which owns the rooms. The place is near the road, sometimes it can be noisy. Wi-fi sometimes didn't work. View is nice, but the roof in front of the terrace slightly block the view. The kitchen was also listed on the booking, but in fact there isn't a kitchen there.

Baggie Homestay was fantastic. The rooms were clean and tidy, had mosquito net over and plenty of places to charge. Square UK plugs. The breakfast was amazing, it did me until evening. The view was amazing also. The owner was very helpful.

Great breakfast, friendly host, clean and specious room.

Location (it’s quite far from the center)

We had a nice and comfortable stay. Good price for the room. There are (a lot of) stairs if you want to walk to the centre, otherwise you can take a tuk tuk. It’s quiet at night and the terrace is a nice place to have the fresh breakfast, every day something different! The lady of the house is very kind!

We were a bit surprised when we arrived here since the cleanliness review was so good. During our 2-nights stay, there was a lot of dirt on the floor and nests of bugs in the mosquito net. We tried to tell this to the host but since she doesn’t speek English she didn’t understand us as thus didn’t help with the situation (even while google translate). After a second attempt she wept the floor quickly. Plus the bathroom would need a refreshment.

It wasn’t very clean.

Delicious breakfast. Friendly host. Free parking. Plenty of birds and chipmunks around. Relatively calm area. Good value for money. Emergency lamp offered when short electricity loss occured (we learned that electricity outages are common in Sri Lanka).

The area has very high humidity and apropriate ventilation system was missing: the room had ceiling covered with mold, the smell of which is disturbing. Repairs are necessary. For the short term more up to date photos could be provided to avoid an unpleasant surprise. Clarification regarding availability of the safety deposit box may be needed in offer description, as it was missing from our room.
