Murali Guesthouse Hampi

Had a wonderful stay at Murali Guesthouse, Hampi. The stay was very comfortable, and the hospitality was exceptional. The owner treated us like their own family members, making us feel completely at home throughout our visit. The food was absolutely delicious and one of the highlights of our stay. Everything was well arranged, and the warm, friendly atmosphere made our trip even more memorable. Highly recommended for anyone visiting Hampi and looking for a peaceful stay with genuine hospitality.

The host is amazing and so are her parents, we reached at 10:30, the parents were sleeping, however they woke up and greeted us warmly. We were hungry so we asked if they could provide us anything to eat, her mother was kind enough to make us some warm Egg Fried Rice, it was delicious yet simple. Overall, a beutiful and lovely place.

Location was good.

There was no basic amenities in the room. Bedsheets and pillow looked cheap. Wifi was not available at room. You need to go to common area to access wifi. I asked them multiple times to fix the wifi but no one took any action. No restaurants near by and food prices in their kitchen was expensive. Mosquitoes also.

The family manages the guest house and is very welcoming and helpful, making sure to check if you need anything or any help. Everything was well designed and laid out as per the needs of a traveller wanting to explore places in Hampi.

The location is a bit off-centred, especially if you are visiting in monsoons as there won't be any ferry service to take you across the river.

Murali Guesthouse offers a peaceful, nature-surrounded stay close to Hampi's main attractions. The bamboo huts are simple, clean, and relaxing. Murali and Lottie were warm and welcoming, making it feel like home. Homemade food was a highlight—delicious and comforting. Great open spaces to relax, good WiFi, and a truly homely atmosphere. Highly recommended for an authentic and peaceful Hampi experience!

Amazing stay in the heart of Hampi! I had a wonderful experience staying at Murali Guesthouse Hampi. The location is perfect—peaceful yet very close to major attractions, temples, and local cafes. The bamboo huts and cottages are simple, clean, and beautifully surrounded by nature, which gives a truly relaxing vibe. The highlight of my stay was the warm hospitality. Murali anna and his family are incredibly kind and welcoming; they make you feel like part of their home. The homemade food at the guesthouse is delicious, especially Amma's cooking—it felt like having a meal prepared by family. I also loved the open spaces around the guesthouse where you can sit and watch the sunset or just unwind with a cup of chai. WiFi was good, and everything was well maintained. Highly recommended if you want an authentic, peaceful, and homely stay while exploring the magical beauty of Hampi!
