Thilak Home Stay

Firstly a special thanks to Kish, the host, he made sure I got to his location by sending me a cab. Eventually also helping me get to my next location in time. The room was very clean, the location was great, just walking distance from the main temple. He also got me a tour guide who spoke very good English and I managed to see all of Hampi in the time frame. The room is enough for two people, had no issues with the room whatsoever. Stores and restaurants are in close proximity. Overall it was an amazing stay, I’ll definitely go back when I visit Hampi again.

You're in the heart of the city, very homely and super clean room & washroom. Kishore and his appa were the best hosts, great recommendations and even made arrangements on request. Communication with the host was friendly and they were available throughout the stay. Tip: You may not need to book air con as the room itself is rather cool and has a super strong fan.

Too much power cut but that's not the property issue rather the nature of the locality.

Location was excellent, no breakfast provided, but plenty of opportunities within short walking distance. Close to sights. Helpful and pleasant manager.

Excellent host and very helpful

Perfect location right next to the central temple, surrounded by shops & restaurants. Communication with the owner before the stay was really quick & helpful. He organised the riksha pick-up at Hospete station and told us about the laundry service. It is even possible to take a shower after check-out and to store the luggage.

No WIFI password provided (was not really necessary for us because we had mobile data). The AC works inconstantly (but there is a fan).

UK Traveler, the home stay was superb, the owner was very helpful and a really nice guy, made sure a tuk tuk was there at the station for us and also to take us back to the station. Room is small but satisfactory and very clean, I would stay here again and recommend.

The location is very close to the main monuments. The hosts were friendly and arranged a pick up for us from the train station to the accommodation. The property was very clean, we had towels, shampoos and soups.Also, it is closed to restaurants that offer good food such as Chillout Ganesha.

We had booked 2 rooms, but in one of them the AC was not working.

This place is great. Right in the middle of town. So close to everything. But more importantly, Krish and the people he connected us to were astonishing. Everyone went way above and beyond what is required to accomodate us. I am so grateful to you all. Hampi and my time at Thilak will be a special memory. Thanks so much.
