Jimmy Durian Orchard

The surrounding areas were so serene and the morning view was breathtaking once you are at the very top of the property during the morning walk. It brought back a nostalgia feeling when I was staying here.

I couldn’t find one to say the dislike about the property.

Jimmy Durian Orchard is the ideal retreat for both durian lovers and those looking for a relaxing outing from the bustling noise of the big city. It is literally next to the highway, yet secluded from it and very quite. You can visit the orchard and chill out at the premises. Jimmy plans to include a swimming pool soon. Also, he is starting offering amazing Italian meals prepared by chef Davide who recently came to Malaysia from Seattle and brought with him decades of experience running a world class Italian restaurant. I also suggest trying the durian ice cream, no doubt the best I have ever had!

Didn't expect much when I booked 1 night stay here. Selected this place due to its location & it's surrounded by nature. Thinking of finding a place to relax before heading back to KL. To my surprise, my family & my sister's family really enjoyed our stay here. The owner (Jimmy), his wife & his workers were very friendly. Jimmy is an excellent host. He wiling to chat with us for hours. Sharing his life wisdom & investment too. We also have the opportunity to try his home made Musang King ice-cream. Made instantly in front of us. 80% Musang King & 20% other ingredients. Very delicious. Their common hall is very cozy. With the permission of the owner, we can have Karaoke session too. We just chilled at there for hours & help ourselves with free coffee, tea & milo at the mini bar area. The room is clean. Overall the environment is very relaxing. Full of plants with Bali style structure. We plan to come back again during durian season.

We arrived on the second day of Chinese New Year, lucky to find the affiliated café had just opened, saving us the trouble of going out for dinner. The homestay, taking inspiration from traditional Malay wooden houses architecture. The main living hall exudes a delightful combination of coziness and spaciousness. The walkway leading up to the guest rooms is enveloped by pools of water, offering a tranquil retreat from the hustle of the city. The guest rooms and public washroom are impeccably clean. Water pressure is excellent, making showering a delightful experience. Jimmy, the homestay owner, provides exceptional hospitality, brewed us warm drinks before breakfast and sharing his financial knowledge and life experiences with passion. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay and Jimmy's company.

Additional parking spaces could be considered, as parking may become problematic during peak season.

Jimmy was an excellent host, welcoming and a source of local information, available for questions. The guest house is close to the road but isolated and quiet at the same time. Great place to stay while traveling and in need of quiet and rest.

Have your eyes peeled when looking for the entrance on the main road!

The environment, cozy, clean place

Was raining whole night, abit noisy from the rain. No toothbrush provided. Toilet window should provide netting, so mosquitoes and other insert won't enter to it.

Location is good, great place to get away from the city.
