Location was great it has nice view of kandy city

In the booking there was a price but then when we were there the price was higher.

We had a wonderful stay at this hotel! The location is fantastic—convenient and scenic, making it perfect for exploring the area. The staff were incredibly friendly and always willing to help, which made our stay even more enjoyable. It’s also very budget-friendly, offering great value for the price. Overall, an amazing place that we would definitely recommend and love to visit again!

really far from everything although the seemingly good location, you are kind of prisoner of the owners to move in town even if the period (tooth buddha worship since 16 years) was quite special, they (the owners) don't announce the price of theirs services (pick up and drop of, , prices of beers and so on) you have to be careful, I didn't understand why a russian girl was speaking so longly with the owner, as a matter of fact she was bargaining steep... In spite of my old age, i was quite naive (my second day in sri lanka) i became tougher afterwards ..

Our stay at Mountain View Guest House was truly a dream come true, a perfect 10/10 in every way! We came here for our honeymoon, and from the moment we arrived, everything felt magical. The room was clean, cozy, and beautifully arranged, with a breathtaking view of the mountains that we could enjoy right from our window. We absolutely fell in love with the peaceful and scenic atmosphere. It was the perfect place to relax and create unforgettable memories together. But what made our experience truly special was the owner, Kanu. He is one of the kindest, most genuine people we’ve ever met. He went above and beyond to make our stay as comfortable and exciting as possible. Whether it was offering us rides in his tuktuk to explore the area, stopping at beautiful spots for us to take photos, or simply checking in to make sure we had everything we needed, Kanu was always there with a big smile and a warm heart. His son was just as lovely and helpful, making us feel like part of their family. The hospitality, the stunning views, the peaceful surroundings, and the love and care we received made this trip one we will cherish forever. We couldn’t have asked for a better place to spend our honeymoon. Everything about Mountain View was mesmerising, peaceful, and perfect. If you’re looking for a place that feels like home, with people who truly care, and views that will stay with you forever, Mountain View is the place to be. Amazing view! Nice host who arranged for us to see a traditional dancer performance in Kandy and took us to it by tuktuk. The next day he took us by tuktuk through tea plantations, a tea factory and to the train station Nanu Oya. New and comfortable equipment.

The location is absolutely lovely with stunning mountain views. The room, bed, and facilities were all excellent—clean, comfortable, and well maintained. I highly recommend this place for a relaxing and enjoyable stay.
