Cham and his family are incredibly great hosts. He supports you wherever he can, is always there for you and available, helps you organise trips and simply makes you feel at home in his homestay. The vibe in the house is incredibly positive. Everyone smiles and it's just lovely. The breakfast in the morning is wonderful

Great host, spacious room, hot shower, good breakfast with eggs and fresh fruits. Good location too, you can walk to the center (and take a tuktuk back up, because it is steep, even if you’re fit) There’s a gym nearby!

Bit noisy at night, the wifi is a bit weak at times, the room didn’t have direct sunlight

Nice place, good aircon and very nice owner. If you need something, just ask. He can answer every questions!

I loved my stay ay Anniewatte house The room was very clean and comfortable The location in a street uphill , it's 20 min walking distance to White Buddah and like 30 min walking to the lake and temple of the tooth. Wifi was working well Hot shower. Cham the owner is really nice, kind, friendly and knowledgable , he was always there fpr any help and guided me with some city tour tips . His small family was also the highlight of the place.. They allowed me to use their kitchen to prepare my salad or tea. They welcomed me with tea and biscuits. His wife is such a sweet generous lady I enjoyed the vibes of the house and being with Cham's family Highly recommended if you are in Kandy

It was challenging to walk up to the house in the evening and had to take tuktuk everytime, yet it wasn't a big thing.
