Robert's Place Paarl

The area was nice and quiet.

The check-in process was smooth; however, a more welcoming and friendly approach would have been appreciated. The room I had originally booked was advertised as having a garden view with visibility of the pool, but the room allocated to us was situated in a corner facing a wall, which was disappointing. Additionally, I had to request assistance from a staff member to show me around and help me familiarise myself with the facilities. While I did reach out with a few questions via the provided contact number, I only received an automated response and no follow-up assistance thereafter. Unfortunately, the experience was further affected during the night when a snail crawled onto my face while I was asleep, which was extremely unpleasant and unsettling.

Everything I needed was available, good wifi, a comfortable bed and also small touches that made my stay pleasant e.g coffee, tea and cereal totally free within specified time. I really enjoyed the accommodation, the location was convenient and the host Robert made us feel welcome. The peaceful atmosphere made the stay even better.

It's a home away from home. Everything that we needed was there...including the option of aircon. Robert was very accommodating and we can't wait for our next stay.

Nothing comes to mind because we really were pleased with our stay.
