Location is great,near the old town.The owner was very polite and kind.The room was big and very clean.

The location couldnt have been more perfect to explore the city. It is also only a block away from La Ronda a safe place to go in the evening for dinner. A beautiful back garden as well. Our hosts Kelvin and Teresa were friendly and helpful with great tips for transportation and suggestions for things to do. Gracias!

The home is over 300 years old so dont expect central heating. The beds were great and bedding more than ample to stay warm through the night.

We were greeted by Kelvin who gave us valuable information about Quito and attractions. The location is great with restaurants close by and a mini mart across the street. We were in the 2 bedroom suite which had three beds.Two of the mattresses were a bit too firm for us. The linen/pillows are good quality with extra blankets available. The bathroom was nice with modern amenities and plenty of hooks to hang towels etc. We had a mini fridge which was convenient. The shared kitchen has tea, sugar and instant coffee (you can get milk across the street at the Mini Mart). Would recommend.

Traffic noise, but we came prepared based on previous reviews.

Hostal is in een 300 jaar oud gebouw in het historische centrum. Ruime kamer, zeer vriendelijke host. Host gaf uitgebreid info over de stad en bezienswaardigheden.

Woning zelf ligt in een rustige straat maar je hoort iets van het verkeer.

We had a wonderful stay here. Kelvin was extremely helpful and communicative, highlighting all the key attractions and providing safety advice within Quito. The apartment was spacious and comfortable. It is within walking distance of the lively La Ronda street and also close to the main square. The garden and balcony provides a lovely view of the Madonna statue. There is a shop right across the road which is useful for buying snacks/drinks. They also arranged transport from the airport and allowed us to keep our bags there and chill out in the garden on our last day while we waited for our late night shuttle to the Amazon. We loved meeting Lana the beautiful 14 year old labrador who loved cuddles! There was free coffee, tea and filtered water which we also appreciated.

Nice accommodation, nice garden to take your own breakfast, very helpful personnel.

There is some noise from the street if you have a room at the street side and from a street with cafes and restaurants adjacent to the garden, when you have a room on the back side, but that is unavoidable if you want to stay in the city center.
