DO NOT STAY HERE!! It’s a scam we got locked out on the second night and didn’t see the host once. We got locked out with our stuff in there . We had to book into a hotel the second night . we don’t think she’s a real person and something is going on in that apartment. Please don’t book in here.

Excellent location, very clean with good facilities.

I love Strandhill, Ireland.

There is a door lock and a key on the bedroom door where we were supposed to stay, but the key did not lock the door securely, in fact it was BROKEN. We contacted the host who said: “It doesn’t lock. It’s just us staying here so it’ll be fine. There’s never been an Issue with anyone else.” This is not okay! This is actually UNSAFE and a security issue. It was not listed on the booking details otherwise I never would have booked here. Either repair the door lock or advertise that the bedroom door does not lock so people can decide before they waste their money. We didn’t save any money by staying there, it’s scary and a rip off. We left to go to another hotel with a locked door and breakfast for just €30 more.

Al llegar la llave se recoge debajo de una piedra, no nos dan llave del parking privado que ofrecen en el anuncio, hemos tenido que aparcar en un parking público. Subes y es una segunda planta sin ascensor, menos mal que no llevamos equipo de surf … La barandilla de la escalera al llegar llena de ropa tendida, sin comentarios! La habitación tiene vistas a un parking privado, el de entrada, la cama tiene sábanas gastadas y con bolitas, no hay lámpara, solo una bombilla, nada más que hay una lamparita de noche, en vez de dos, no hay espejo en la habitación, solo uno pequeño de mano, el armario tiene solo dos perchas cutres de alambre y una de falda, en el altillo del armario hay lío de ropa, no hay percheros, tuvimos que colgar las toallas mojadas en los tiradores de los cajones de la cómoda. Y ya para terminar, el baño tiene inodoro roto, sin tapa, los azulejos de la bañera bastante sucios y el lavabo no tiene espacio para poner ni una bolsa de aseo.
