Richlands Homestay

It had a swimming pool which we didn’t use and parking. The living room had a good sized tv.

The twin beds were very narrow and very uncomfortable. The road noise went on all night from the 2 roads the property stands between. The noise from the kitchen next door was off putting and went on until 11.30pm, as the wall between was paper thin, as was the upstairs creaking around and banging. The decor was very dated with a lot of furniture which didn’t look very clean or appealing. In the morning there was a knock on the door and the owner just walked in while we were still in bed and placed our breakfast on the table near the window over looking the car park. No choice of break was offered just dumped on the table, which consisted of a slice of bacon (overdone) a hard poached egg, mushrooms (which were nice) and a brown. No toast. It was a complete joke.

Its all prepared and designed with much love. The owner was super helpful with all questions I had. Even brought me a cooling pad for my recovery!

Nothing only thing I would say was missing was a hairdryer! Other than that it was excellent

The room was amazing and it was great that there was a lounge I could use while my husband was out. There is ample parking at the property. The breakfast was really nice and freshly cooked. The owners were really firendly. We would certainly go back and recommend it.

There isn't anything I can say that I didn't like about the property.

The space the coziness the quirkiness of the property , loved the jigsaws of the lions and one the big one on the wall , not to mention the lovely hosts they were absolutely so accommodating and welcoming , that I feel this is the best property iv stayed at through this app .. can’t fault it not to mention the lovely swimming wool will definitely return in the future just what me and the hubby needed to get away from all the chaos of every day life ..

i liked how welcoming the host was and how clean everything was ! there was a continental breakfast as well as milk for tea/coffee/etc. the location was great as it was close to where i was meeting someone. Also, with the room i booked, i got a side room with a television and a couch/table ! very surprised, very happy.

The only thing i can sort of say against it is that when i showered, there was no hot water. not a huge bother but for how early in the morning it was, and since the heating was on the whole time, i thought that was a bit strange.

Super friendly host and exceptional comfort. Feels like a home.
