"Nice stay with some lackings"

The location, the room

I saw from a previous review that the main focus of the owner is towards the restaurant. It is true. You will not feel the fulfillment. The drinking water is not available in the room. You have to go to another room to get the water. And you have to do it. Also in the booking.com it shows an adjacent dining room. Actually it is not there.

The rooms were big, clean, location is very very good...just near University sangeet bhavan. There were all facilities available. The foods of the cafe/restaurant is toooo good... 100% recommended

"An Abode of Peace"

This homestay is literally an abode of peace. In the campus, amidst the students this stay gives one the real feel of the place. This house is typically Santiniketan - customised architecture in the green. Cleanliness, comfort, services makes it perfect.

The property has many dogs at their behest, few strays and few pets. It was a problem for apathetic and phobic like us.

Property is good. Room is very good,

There is no provission for calling the room service from room. The staff and the proprietor is more consious of their caffe business then room service

"Overall good but with bad hospitality at the end"

Food was good. The manager of the homestay was good. Room were big and clean

The behaviour of the homestay owner was not up to the mark. Thought our suite had attached dinning , homestay cafe never delivered or served the dinner and lunch in our room or dining area.also in kasahara cafe smoking is fully allowed. So the cafe ambience used become unbearable during evening bcoz of limitless smokers. We couldn't seat or our children couldn't enjoy inside the cafe due to smoky ambience. And staff will deliver the food only if u seat thr and wait for ur order. The hostess even told tht it is upto u if ur child or u cannot bear smoky ambience. She also emphasize that we can order from our side dinner at 10 pm or 12 am if u don't like our ambience. It is not expected. Hope they will work on their hospitality.. they need lots improvement...
