PRAKRITI HOMESTAY Fortkochi Air Conditioned Rooms

Great, clean and comfortable homestay super close to Fort Kochi. Prakriti was very friendly and cooked a great breakfast for us every morning. Would recommend!

This is a very pleasant, quiet, and private homestay. The hosts are really nice people, and the rooms are great. The host also cooks a superb south Indian breakfast. I enjoyed everything about my stay.

Sujith and Lakshmi are the most gracious and welcoming hosts. Their lovely home is nestled amongst a residential area, which allows guests to get a real sense of the rhythm and routine of Fortkochi life. Our room was lovely, sparkling clean and comfortable, with a separate entrance, and the sounds of birdlife and temple bells creating a peaceful and harmonious atmosphere. Lakshmi prepares beautiful breakfasts on request, along with delicious chai, and with her great knowledge of the area can organise tuk-tuk or backwater tours, cultural activities such as kathakali dance, and/or relaxing and rejuvenating ayurvedic treatments. When we (reluctantly) left for an early flight, they booked a car for us, ensured it arrived as requested, and helped us with our considerable luggage. Meeting Lakshmi, Sujith and their family was a major highlight of our trip, and we are grateful for the many kindnesses they showed to us. We look forward to stopping at Prakriti Homestay again when next in Kochi.
