"A peaceful stay"

The location was perfect. Just on the river so a gorgeous sunrise. And not too close to the center so we felt like it was a real getaway

I paid extra for an upgrade to the 'Superior Queen Room' but we didn't get this Room

"Beautiful peaceful island - very relaxing stay"

Beautiful location on the riverfront . Rustic attractive home stay . Nice to have option of breakfast and hot drinks .

Beds were hard and room and bathroom needed a deeper clean. Arrived at 18:30 and no food available close by (wasn’t weekend)- was toast and marmalade.If walking there’s a regular ferry from Wat Kang Kret until 8pm which leaves you only 300m from the home stay -so more convenient than the main port- there also a 7/11 on the mainland supply for supplies !

I really liked the island. The weekend vibes (markets, lot of food, great atmosphere) as well as the working days when the island is nice and relaxed. Smiling people everywhere. Helpful, kind. Evening reading by the river, drinking beer, enjoying the breeze (much more pleasant weather than in BKK) and surprisingly no mosquitos!! Also the staff were super super nice!!! Lovely gesture: I was sitting on the hard bench, reading a book and the lady from the front desk just brought me two cusions... I could use the shared fridge, got free bottled water...

The only and major trouble was the noise. This is not a fault of the homestay. It's simply a traffic on the river.
