McMillan Ranch Yosemite

Daniela, the host, gave us a taste of the Italian warmth in the beautiful countryside of Coarsegold, only a 45-min drive from the south entrance of Yosemite National Park. I highly recommend asking Daniela to make you breakfast or fix you a picnic basket: the taste of those sandwiches was just unmatched! Not to mention the ham&cheese omelette! We didn't try the dinner option but I am sure that it would have been as spectacular. Thanks to the McMillan ranch!

Daniela is the perfect host! She gives you all the energy you need to recover after a long day trip. She is Italian, so from an Italian, I can say that her food is like Nonna’s. 5 stars

We liked everything.

Great quality/price ratio compared to the zone. Daniela was hyper friendly and kind, we bought dinner from here both the evenings that we were there: delicious and healthy.

Everything is exactly like the pictures, it was so cute and clean, felt really comfortable, great customer service.

Loved how remote it was, the drive up there was like a dream for me coming from the uk and not having scenery like that. The place itself had everything I could ask for and from my porch I saw lizards, hares, hummingbirds and Pluto (or maybe Bluto) the neighbours dog that came and climbed all over me as I sat on the porch 😆 From the main house the sunset was stunning. The food was delicious too and very filling. I would recommend this place. You get an experience you would never get at a chain hotel.

The small cabin was wonderful and well equipped to support us during our trip to Yosemite. It’s 5-10 min driving from Coarsegold and 45 mins to Yosemite entrance. The cabin has everything you need for your trip, including good bathroom, comfy bed, microwave, coffee machine, etc.
