No accommodations. There was no light in the shared bathroom and funny smell . Two people were living in the separate rooms and the feeling that you are using someone’s space . Bathroom and kitchen ( fridge) was dirty and smelly.

My booking was cancelled, because the owner double booked the property when I was supposed to check in. I never found out until I was getting ready to head to the property to check in. I called the property to see if I could get there a little bit earlier, and that's when the lady told me that it was double booked. I had to call Bookings, and they felt so bad for me. Right away they looked for a place for me to stay. After Bookings found a place, then the lady called to say that she could accommodate me for 2 of my 8 days. I didn't think that would make sense to move around like that.

This reservation was not off to a good start as I was directed to go down the driveway which would make most people think that they would need to go to the side door when in actuality I just needed to go to the front door. (simple directions) This delayed my check in by 2 hours and I was not offered a refund for the inconvenience. Upon getting settled into my room an older woman came and turned the door knob to open it (which was locked) and then began banging on the door. I responded "yes" and she said "open the door". Let me say, I am a New Yorker, born and raised so I opened the door and I'm sure she knew what would be the next action. Her response was, "I'm so sorry, I thought it was my grandson". This was my Welcome to Historical Neighborhood Home. The room had poor lighting, no full length mirror, which you definitely need in NY, and the TV had no internet connection so it was useless. The quiet time rules didn't apply on Saturday because the family that was there was having a party. I also did not know that I would be sharing a bathroom with several children ( who are notoriously dirty) and I was not able to utilize ithe bathroom conveniently. I was happy to check out early Sunday morning.
