Eco Hills Homestay

AMAZING view to wake up to. The breakfast was also so delicious. It was our favorite pho in all of Vietnam so far. The family was so very kind and generous. We felt right at home here ❤️ You do have to grab or bike to the city, but that’s okay with us for the nature we got to experience. The room is small, but expected given the bungalow expectations.

This is a simple and beautifully located property. Thuy and his family are welcoming and always happy to guide you. We booked a family bungalow on stilts which had a great view. This meant we had privacy when we wanted and could enjoy the area at our own place. The room was comfortable and clean. We had lunch almost everyday at the property and it was very tasty and homey food. Note that there is a steep climb to reach the property (Thuy will bring your bags up on his two wheeler) but the views are very much worth it.

Die Inhaber waren super lieb und haben uns geholfen wo sie konnten! Uns wurde sogar eine Fahrt nach meo vac organisiert.

The breakfast was one of our highlights of the whole trip. We honestly havent had a breakfast in Vietnam afterwards that was as good as here.

A truly authentic, family-run place. I learned a lot about the local culture talking to the hosts. The bungalow is simple but this added to the authentic experience. It has its own bathroom and a balcony overlooking the rice fields. I slept really well to the peaceful sounds of nature. It is located in a quiet, farmy area, but a short walk takes you to the shops, restaurants and massage places in town. The town Tavan has surprisingly artsy spots and beautiful alternative bars overlooking the mountains and rice fields. Although it is a bit of a drive to Sapa Town, I was ultimately happy I chose to stay in the Tavan area instead, as it is much nicer to walk around, without the hectic traffic or masses of tourists. The homestay organizes hikes so ask about that.

I couldn't figure out how to make the water in the shower warm up. But I also didn't ask.

Я останавливалась в 2 отелях в сапе и этот мне понравился больше. Здесь тише и спокойнее. До кафе и ресторанов чуть дольше, но всего 3-5-10 минут пешком. Здесь очень вкусно готовят. Рекомендую спринг роллы - один из лучших что я ела. Владельцы и правда очень милые и настоящие. Это искренняя доброта. Мы хорошо поболтали с владельцем. Я останавливалась на одну ночь в маленьком бунгало, во вторую в семейном. И там и там классный вид, но в семейном панарамный на рисовые поля. Очень красиво . Инструкция по заселению: предупредите о времени вашего приезда и владелец заберет ваши вещи внизу на байке.
