Sunrise Homestay

The woman running it is very friendly and helpful, on the check out day she let us stay for a few hours in the lobby and stored our luggage, even valuables. She also let us leave stuff in her fridge. The room is very spatious, there are 2 queen beds which are very comfortable, a wardrobe, a fridge and a large fan. It's quiet and it stays dark, excellent for sleeping.

There is an insect problem in the whole compound. During our 2 night stay we had to eliminate 3 cocroaches. The host gave us a bug spray which was nice of her. But since there are no windows, and there are also cocroaches in the hallway we couldn't air out the spray, which is toxic. And these were some huge cocroaches, not only crawling but jumping as well. There were also some small ants on the second bed which got into my packing cube, even though we didn't keep any food in the room, not even snacks. The airco didn't work well, it took about and hour to start blowing cool air (did not depend on settings or malfunctioning remote, it was the airco). There was also a gekko in the room (thought in the given situation this was actually good as it eats small roaches and insects). The chairs in the lobby are incredibly uncomfortable. Waiting for 2 hours for the bus there was quite an unpleasant experience, and the older hostess gave us some unpleasant looks as if the wanted us to leave.

room was VERY big, with two king beds (we were just 2 people). Very good location, quiet place at night. They let us refill our water bottles in their water fountain. There is a very good breakfast place right next to the homestay.

We asked the staff about a tailor and she took us to her mother's tailor. The lady was kind of annoying and wouldn't let us leave without getting our stuff done with her.

Cute homestay in a good location. Lots of restaurants and cafes around. Nice walk through town to the main Hoi An Oldtown! The room was clean and comfortable with cold AC although the until would leak during the night. Overall really great and would recommend.

The Wifi was a bit hit and miss, it would cut our randomly and the signal was quite weak.

A really kind and helpful family. We were very happy with the room, it was clean and comfortable. There was water provided and we could use the kitchen. The location was also very convenient and there were two little supermarkets close by.

The family is so friendly, good value for money, it’s close to everything like 10 minutes walking from the attractions. We have been in 5 stars hotels in this trip and we slept really well there, the room is inside so you don’t listen any loud noise.

good location , value for money and very kind owner. they also keep your luggage for free untill you take . you dont need to carry it . also have laundry service for cheap price. good for short stay. hot water .

bathroom is not well designed however it is okay for low cost places.
