Super quiet location, lovely relaxing space on the river, comfortable room, bed, hot shower. Most of all, our host Dao, along with her family, was amazing! She was friendly, informative, caring and so helpful. A truly lovely person who welcomed us into her home.

Loved everything

Location is perfect to walk the beach in the morning. There are some shops and restaurants around but it’s better to take a bike and go to the Old Town… Breakfast is prepared fresh, so it’s a good idea to talk about the possible menu with the hostess. There is a rest area outside with hammocks and nice view over water. The WiFi works fine in the room, somehow well outside. There is AC in the room, and also lockers… (look below). Bathroom is also in the room and it was never a problem to share it. It’s possible to rent a bicycle for a day (VND 50,000). The price is NOT for 24 hours.

The bunk beds in the dorm room are not really comfortable: they are simply too narrow! It’s not easy to sleep when your mattress is just 90 cm wide… For a night or two it would be ok but longer? Difficult! For the future guests: there are four beds in the dorm room but only 2 accessible lockers! If you really need a locker you need to be one of the first two guests checking in. It’s possible that if you check in as the third person, you won’t get a locker. And the lockers are big enough for cabin size bags. Like everywhere else in Vietnam the bicycles are “one size fits all” and they are rather small…

Our room was lovely - the balcony faced the river and it was bright and airy! Doa was a lovely host - always very helpful. The location is quiet, on the river. We cycled everywhere - less than 10 mins to the beach.

Super charming family, very helpful and welcoming. Great location and serene scenery.. perfect for silent retreats. Also close to the beach.

I didn’t get the room that I saw on booking, instead I had a room on the groundfloor without a proper window.. I didn’t mind it for just 2 nights but with a longer stay perhaps it’d be great to make sure the information is right.

Dao is a great host, she sorted out private transport from the airport and gave us tons of suggestions of things to do. The cooking class she booked us on was lots of fun. Dao's home is in a beautiful location, right by the riverside and a short walk from the beach. The location is much more peaceful than the old town, which is easily accessible by car or bike.

This family owned hotel is the ideal getaway from the crowded Hoi An old town. The owners will do their best to accommodate your needs and they have all the recommendations you could need for visiting Hoi An and its surroundings. Breakfast was cooked in-house with local ingredients. We were served Cao lầu noodles, a traditional Hoi An dish, delicious rice flour banana pancakes and fresh fruits. The beach is conveniently located within a 5-minute-walk from the hotel, has a couple of restaurants and sun loungers are easily accessible. Plus, our room facing the river offered the best sunsets.

My stay here was amazing! The private room was super nice, clean and spacious. The view from the balcony was great and the bed was the comfiest I have slept in Vietnam! Their breakfast is so delicious and definitely gets you full. Most importantly the owners are so nice and friendly, they gave me a lot of tips what to do in Hoi An and were always ready to help :)

It’s kinda far away from the central/ old town area but if you want a more peaceful place to stay this is the one!

We absolutely loved our stay here! We were here for three nights and had a wonderful time. Such a loving environment, amazing home cooked breakfast every morning and so friendly and attentive. Dao and her family are just the best! We were also able to book day trips through Dao which made things super easy! The room was lovely, we had the triple room which had a balcony and was super comfortable!
