Lhachik Guest House

We immediately felt at home at Lhachik. It's located at about a 7-8 minute easy walk from the main market, making it sufficiently close to the central area yet away from the din. The rooms are clean, spacious and equipped with reliable WiFi connectivity. Breakfast and dinner service is available on request — and requested it should be! The food is simple, homely and delicious — served fresh off the stove. There is also a laundry service on request. The hosts are a warm, humble people — guiding us with the dos and don'ts of acclimatisation, arranging the taxi rides for the rest of our trip and generally accommodating all our questions and concerns with grace.

Everything was perfect — Singhay ji, his family and staff went above and beyond to host us.

Beds a little hard… And note that it’s pretty far from the main bazaar, so if you get AMS it’s a little rough to get necessities. However, that is the flip side of having a really lovely quiet and beautiful spot…

Loved the family like staff, Singhe bhaiya, the owners, Meena our cook and her husband. And yes, the market being extremely close to their Jih gyas guest house.
