The Jero Ubud

Beautiful family compound close to Main Street but quiet. Great shower. Clean. Really don’t understand any of the complaints from other people who booked this place. I thought it was a great place to stay and had no complaints at all.

Comfy, clean and quiet away from the busy streets but only about 7 minutes on a scooter to the main part of Ubud

The rooms are always clean and tiny. Prepared with basics things which is good. Breakfast is nice as well. Staff are friendly. Cool place, cool price.

Great location in Ubud

I needed to cancel my stay after one night, and despite the flexible cancellation policy advertised, was charged significantly. The person I spoke to via phone was really unhelpful. The room didn’t look like the photos at all.

Room was no bigger than a bread box. No one spoke to us in English. We were not greeted by the owner upon arrival. Being jet lagged after. 20+ hour flight the host was having a loud get together right beside our room and we were not able to sleep. The conversations went on & on There was a construction site that we had to cross on order to be able to access the property. The property was down an alley and we had to drag all of our bags and them lift them over a threshold. It we not what we expected. The next morning we started looking for another place to stay. We were able to get a bungalow with a pool at Gerebig Bungalows for a couple of dollars more and it included breakfast. The owner requested the payment for the whole 7 night stay. There was no discussion, no offers. Of course why so anything when you are paid in full. I would not recommend this place to anyone.

Everything was lovely but we did book a double bed room and for two singles for the first night even though I messaged. Not a big deal as they did move us for the second night just something to be aware of. Breakfast was nice. Great location
