Himrab Chopta Resort

Location is hard to find from the main road.

Staff is excellent. Entire staff members were very cooperative and they are very genuine. All my negative comments are not for this specific property but for limitations of the location. Chopta has no electricity (they use solar). This is the reason they do not have heaters in the room even though temperature goes to 1-2 degree. I was not able to manage the cold, after some discussions with the staff, they provided electric blanket. This was nice gesture.

Nothing as such. Reaching till the property from actual road is bit difficult.

The check in time is 2:00 pm. I reach at 7:00 p.m. Yet, no room was available. I had to wait good 40 mins for a room to be ready.

I was told to change rooms in the middle of my stay. This was a huge inconvenience. The hotel does not communicate matters clearly from beforehand. If you are booking this place, ensure you double check what you are booking and demand exactly that.
