Kanlaya's Eyrie, Luxury Homestay

This location can be succinctly described as Classy: designed and decorated with taste, giving it a unique combination of comfort and hominess together with subdued yet classy luxuriousness. The location is heart-stoppingly beautiful on the upper slope of a hill overlooking a winding creek, thick rainforest and green agricultural fields - with views going to a far far distance. The hosts personally attended to our every request and took extra steps to pamper us: for example the hostess handed us a pair of binoculars because the view is so amazing and there really are so many layers of interesting things to see. The heavy rainfall kept us indoor but the outdoor covered jacuzzi facing the amazing view was an exceptional experience. There is a world of additional activities which we could not partake in or enjoy - because we were there for only one night and under heavy rainfall - but this is a place worth staying at - and for longer durations.

The water pressure in the shower was a bit weak - we find this is common in Thailand.

Wow what a find if you love nature appreciate a highly rural location, outstanding service and attention to detail from the owners, then this will be a real find for you. The quality of accommodation is well above anything you will find in the best of hotels in Northern Thailand. This build has been lavished with an attention to detail in design and execution which now continues into the day to day running and will leave you wanting for nothing. Yes it is at a reassuringly higher price than surrounding accommodation, but you really will be getting what you pay for. We can only thank Phillip and Gail for giving us excellent food and the benefit of their local knowledge. Would have loved to stay longer.

Beautiful property!! Spacious rooms and bathrooms. Run by wonderful hosts, Gail and Philip, who are ever-accommodating and always happy to help. The stay felt very familial and the food was delicious!

My kid loved the local activities that the staff prepared for us. All the staffs are so nice and helpful. The property is so nice and beautiful.

This is a very special place, with such friendly, engaging, and welcoming hosts. They went out of their way to take care of us and ensure we were comfortable during our stay. The rooms, views, and facilities are exceptional and dinner was truly excellent - we wish we had booked our stay for longer! We would happily recommend Kanlaya's Eyrie, we had a wonderful time.

Cannot say enough how wonderful our stay with Philip and Gail was! The personal touch they provided made our honeymoon extra special, which I would highly recommend to anyone who wants a genuine stay in northern Thailand on the Mae Hong Song loop.

This place feels like a dream. We spent three nights there, enjoying everything we could ask for—relaxation, delicious food, cozy evenings with wine, a jacuzzi, and daytime adventures like exploring caves, trekking, and swimming in the river. I have booked 3 nights, King Room with Spa Bath and from the moment I arrived at Kanlaya's Eyrie, I was greeted with warm hospitality and impeccable service. The attention to detail is evident in every aspect of the homestay, from the elegantly appointed rooms to the gourmet dining options that are available to guests. My room was designed for relaxation with comfortable furniture and modern amenities. The balcony offers stunning views for a peaceful stay. Overall, Kanlaya's Eyrie is the ideal destination for those seeking a luxurious and unforgettable getaway.
