Saklı Bahçe pensiyon & camping

Härligt ställe att bara ha det lugnt och skönt på med en mysig stig ner till stranden. Det är utan lyx och flärd med härliga avspända människor. Frukosten var riklig och god med lite variation dag för dag.

Ibland var det lite svårt med språket eftersom engelskakunskaperna inte är så stora. Villigheten finns så med google translate var det inget problem. Tupparna började gala högt, tydligt och tidigt:)

A very charming and cozy bungalow in a peaceful campsite setting. It’s perfectly located — just a few minutes’ walk from a lively street full of restaurants and shops, and on the other side, you're close to the beach and the ruins of the ancient city. The atmosphere of the campsite is absolutely lovely: you're surrounded by gardens with fruit trees, and during the day you’ll see chickens, peacocks, cats, hedgehogs, and even turtles wandering around. It really feels like stepping into a quiet countryside life. We had a truly relaxing stay and wished we could have stayed a few more days. The host was incredibly warm and welcoming, which added to the overall positive experience.

That said, there are a couple of things to keep in mind. The bungalow has a kitchen, but it was completely empty — no plates, cutlery, kettle, or other basic utensils. We ended up borrowing a couple of cups and plates from the shared kitchen, and filled our thermos there to make tea. Of course, this is a campsite, but when you're renting a standalone bungalow, you'd normally expect at least a minimal set of kitchenware. Also, after the first night, the hot water in the shower became quite lukewarm and stayed that way — it's unclear how the heating works. Despite these small inconveniences, we really enjoyed our time here. It’s a wonderful spot to slow down and enjoy nature, and we’d be happy to return.

The location was close to beach. It was clean and simple accomodation set amongst orange trees and free roaming chickens and peacocks. The main drawback was you were unable to get tea and coffee on demand as you had to use a communal urn that was not always full. Staff were friendly and helpful.

Overall, it was great, arguably the best place for us, in Chirali in the multiple vacations we've been there. Nice rooms and beds, air conditioning, welcoming host, kitchen, fireplace, and nice relaxation zones. Overall this was an exceptional fit for our expectations - relative comfort + a lot of freedom and no "all-inclusive vibes" + plus a lot of nice animals around :)

The location was mapped improperly. It's still great(arguably even better, with super easy access to the sea), but it wasn't that straightforward to find—you need to look for Alican Saklı Bahçe Camping. Chickens(but they are also nice :)), which are usual for pensions in this region - can be annoying if you are a sensitive sleeper - I would recommend earplugs :)

No complaints whatsoever. Fantastic place with lots of very friendly animals and a phenomenal owner that made sure we felt welcome - offered his help and advice, had time to chat with everyone, and was all around extremely friendly. The included breakfast was amazing - best we have eaten in Turkey! The place is also very close to the beach, in walkable distance to a couple of interesting and demanding hiking trails, and the view of mountains was breathtaking. Would love to come back.

Saying goodbye to all the cats was very difficult.

Cute little cottage that was clean and comfortable with a good aircon. Access to a shared washing machine and washing line which was useful after a few days of travel. Short walk to the beachfront.

Some difficult communication with English but very helpful. You need to walk through a little back forest path to get to the beach. Very short walk but might make some people feel cautious.

Location is great

The place is very hot because it's a prefab
