Trang An Village Homestay

Trang An Village Homestay was one of the best accommodations (and the best value for what you get) during our 3.5-month trip in Southeast Asia. The homestay is quite large and feels professionally run, even though it’s a family business. Everything was clean, spacious, and very functional. The room was practically furnished (we didn’t have to keep our luggage on the floor, there was a bench big enough for 4 backpacks). There were plenty of hangers in both the room and the bathroom, as well as a table, chairs, and bedside tables. The bathroom was spacious, with instant hot water and great water pressure. Toiletries were also provided incl. shampoo, soap and enough toilet paper. We received fresh towels and new water bottles every day. The room never felt humid, even when it rained. The pool was clean, long, and deep enough for proper swimming. It’s also built smartly so that guests don’t feel very observed so unlike in some other places the pool actually got used. The staff were friendly, informative, and helpful. They were always available and someone was always present, but also gave guests their space. They created a really cozy and nice atmosphere. We rented sturdy bicycles from them for two days, which was a perfect way to explore the area. Everything is close by. The location of the homestay is ideal: in the center of all main sights but we found to be better based here than in Tam Coc because it was less busy, quiet at night, yet enough restaurants and bars nearby (walking distance). Breakfast portions were generous. Since I couldn’t eat bread, they automatically served me a larger portion of the other items I ordered without me even having to ask. The drinks at the breakfast were self-served which we liked a lot; there was fresh ginger available for tea, other teas and coffee with fresh milk (which is not very common in Vietnam). I loved the big mugs! We felt very welcomed, very comfortable and would come back any time!

Great location, spacious room. Bend was comfortable. Our host was super helpful allowing us our to store our bags and shower after checkout. Good breakfast. We loved the village - nice quiet location. Would definitely stay here again.

A nice family property with a beautifull garden area and spacios bungalow rooms. The rooms are simple, but very spacios, with two king size beds and nice little teraces in front. The place is really beautiful and calm. And the staff is amazing. We arrived late in the evening when everythig arround was already closed, but they not only found a way to make our check in easy, but also to provide us some snaks and drinks and arrange a breakfast for us the other day. It was also nice that at the check out (wich was very early in the morning) they arranged an early breakfast for us. Definitelly recommend this place and would stay here again when visiting the area.

Etwas abgelegen, dafür aber schön ruhig und mit dem Roller kommt ja man auch gut überall hin.
