Vas's York House

The host is very kind. He gave me a free room upgrade because he saw that my mother and I brought many pieces of luggage. The kitchen and bedroom are very clean. The place is cozy and homey. The bathroom is spacious and the shower is amazing. Thank you!

I couldn’t use the stove, but I could still use the kettle, microwave, and cutlery, so it was fair enough. I don’t think there was anything specific that I didn’t like about this stay. Overall, it was great!

Friendly and local to town centre

No kettle or water in rooms

The staff were very welcoming and nothing was an issue. They made us feel at home the whole time we were there. The 3 bed room was very spacious and was perfect for what we needed.

It was very cold at night in our room. Im not saying this is the properties fault as the radiator in our room was on. We had been out in the cold until early hours and when we got back we could not warm up. So if your a cold person like us then I would say take an extra blanket going in cold months.

Nothing it was great

Cheap, cheerful property well situated to the tourist attractions, train station and river. Vas allowed us to check in early, was very helpful with parking and the triple room was spacious and comfortable.

Bathroom was a little tired, but totally fine. !
