Windy Nest

It's the best place I've been in Sri Lanka. It's well located, 20 minutes walking from the city centre, and has amazing views to the jungle. The room was big: double bed, sofa, table and the bathroom had hot water. Every morning we woke up with birds eating papaya, squirrels and the last day we saw a young deer. The breakfast is included and it's delicious: natural juice, tea, omelette, and local dishes cooked from the owner. They have tuk-tuk service, laundry and you can have lunch or dinner there too. They helped us with everything. Thank you so so much!

Nice and relaxed base to explore Ella from. Loved that they had a hairdryer which in the humid climate can be really very handy. Also the breakfast was really nice with papayas from the family’s garden

The staff was very helpful and so kind! The breakfast was really big and tasty 😋 the owner also parked our tuktuk for us. The room was spacious with a couch and a big bed.

The whole bathroom was filled with mosquitoes, appeared you can’t close the window in the bathroom and they came in. The whole room was very moist and all our stuff was wet by the morning. Also the wifi didn’t quite work.

Our stay at Windy Nest went very well. The family that welcomed us was very hospitable, taking care of us and preparing delicious breakfasts during the two weeks we spent with them. The room was spacious and excellent, as was the bathroom. The view from the terrace is stunning, and the place is located in a peaceful area but close to the center of Ella (5 minutes by scooter or tuk-tuk). I highly recommend it!

The location is amazing with a beautiful view immersed into a green forest. The room is next to where the owners live, a lovely family that took care of us. Good local food and very clean and comfortable beds.

Stayed here for 2 nights, wonderful quiet place overlooking the tea plantation🌱🌱🌱. Within walking distance of Little Adam's Peak and the Nine Arch Bridge, the whole way from the hotel to the top of Little Peak took me 40 minutes (on foot). The room is spacious, with a large and comfortable bed, clean linens, mosquito net, fan, hot water in the shower and hair dryer💆‍♀️ Delicious breakfast on the terrace, Dhal Curry and Roti are amazing🤤 The owners are friendly and nice people! Thank you, hope to visit you again🤗
