How I was treated by the host Victor

The host was very friendly. The room and house were clean. My brief pause on the mattress would suggest it is very comfortable. If I was looking for communal and homey. This would have been perfect.

Unfortunately, my understanding of a homestay was misinterpreted. You are properly in the host's house, with the room we were given being right next to the family's bedroom. It just did not offer the privacy we were looking for. I feel like the description and the pictures do not properly convey that you are directly in the hosts home with them and their children. I ended up choosing to book a hotel room. This is absolutely NOT a reflection of the home or host, both were prefect, just not for our needs.

Everything and it’s in the neighborhood I was already currently living in and being convenient in the middle of my transition of moving and needing to be close to work it’s actually closer to my job than before

This is a family home in a neighborhood to set expectations.

No private bathroom but one shared with all other guests staying there. The neighborhood was very loud. People yelling in the street at 0700 in the morning as well as 11pm.

You get to cook your own

Absolutely nothing

I’ve reserved, paid and arrived at the place. called the number to get my entry code. no response! after few minutes got a text message from the phone that didnttake my call telling me that the place is fully occupied and apparently forgot to update the site to that effect. that anonymous person behind the text didn’t respond when i asked if they know of place in the area. I was left without a place at 7:30 at night to search for a new place. thank you for that service.

Host was nice and responsive and house was clean.

False advertisement when booking. We expected to have our own secluded area (private) like a kitchen and dining area and that was not the case. The pictures do not represent what kind of room you are getting. It was also mentioned that we would have a private balcony but that was not the case.
