July Bamboo Hostel

It’s a really lovely place to stay. The room was comfortable - massive bed! Nice big windows to look out to the forest, good heating when needed. Breakfast was excellent. Always freshly made, great Chinese food. Congee, sweet potato, noodles, steamed buns, fruit etc. And really nice coffee and tea.

Other than breakfast, the food options on site were very expensive so we always ordered in. Took a while for delivery. Restaurants are 6Km away and with no car, we were limited. Didis took a while to get and not completely reliable. But none of this made the stay any less enjoyable. Just a consideration.

刚入住就喜欢上了满目翠绿，安静雅致的这里。三晚四天里，两位年轻人待我们这对年过70的老人如自家长辈，真正做到了有求必应。想打车去镇上吃饭，滴滴司机临时取消订单，小伙子二话不说就开车送我们。第二天，预定了民宿的套餐，不仅美味且量大，不想浪费，一顿套餐竟然分食了三餐！

It was quiet and peaceful. The hosts were very responsive and helpful!!

You had to take a taxi to get into town

Loved the quiet location surrounded by bamboo trees. The staff were really lovely and offered us some of their barbecue the last night we were there. I reckon it would be lovely in summer. The fire area in the common room was lovely too. The surroundings like seating outside and pool area look really nice. The bedroom was really big and the bed was comfortable. Good car park space and electric charging points. Really pet friendly. Our two dogs were really relaxed here.

The room was either too cold or too hot. The heater was not easy to get the temperature right. The shower was almost over the toilet so all floor wet after a shower. The food options are not great. I would bring more of my own food next time or make sure you are ready to go to other places to eat.

Embedded in nature, calm, brilliant bedrooms and best of all - great staff! off the tourist path but easily accessible.

The hotel is Nicely furnished. Our hostess Jk was lovely and when out of her way to help us. Jk cooked us some fabulous meals asked us what we would like. She was friendly and spoke good English. We visited at a quiet time of year so she kindly drove us to a few tourists destinations and was able to ask questions on our behalf in the shops etc.
