Cloudy Homestay Hoi An

Big, spacious and clean room. Very convenient and quiet location right at the border of the old town. Free bikes were great.

While the room is nice, I don't think the owners are taking seriously enough the fact that they are renting rooms in their house. The owners (I presume at least they were the owners) live on the ground floor and seemed to perceive us as a nuisance. The few times we tried to communicate with them and the cleaning person they were not very polite or helpful. Their faces showed rather annoyed that they had to bother. The younger girl managing the apartment was nice but took sometimes a whole day to reply to messages. They asked us once if we wanted our room cleaned but when we agreed they didn't change trash bags, didn't add toilet paper which was finished and the towels they left were wrong (just one body towel for two persons). There is also some mold in the bathroom ceiling which needs fixing. Overall quite unprofessional.

Very cozy and spacious room with panoramic windows. Close to the historical center, within walking distance. Cloudy Homestay Hoi An also offers bicycles.

-I liked everything except the strange heavy iron doors to the bathroom and toilet. They make a disgusting noise. You can even hear the bathroom doors opening in the next room. -No sound proof.

I stayed here for new year and was very happy with my choice. The owners of the guest house are very nice and helpful. They gave me lots of suggestions and helped me book tickets to visit some places. The guesthouse is well located and not so far. They also helped me book a driver to pick me and bring me to the airport.
