This homestay is wonderful. You feel really like you are part of the family. The room on the top floor was really nice, cozy and clean, with a beautiful terrace with plants. The breakfast was super good and tasty, with banana pancakes or eggs or local food. The host was very nice, she gave us every information to move around the city, including good local restaurants and main attractions.

Great location for the Old Town, super close to the night market but not noisy. Room was large and clean, as was the bathroom. Staff were lovely.

"Perfect location and lovely family stay"

Our stay at The Village was exceptional. We had to arrive very early in the morning as we took an overnight train and the lovely host opened up for us, made us a cup of coffee and let us sleep in the foyer while they kindly cleaned our room so that we could check in early. This was so very much appreciated after several long hours on the sleeper train! The location could not be better - you're about 30 seconds' walk from the night market but there's no noise disturbance at all in the room. A couple more minutes' walk and you're in the old town which is absolutely beautiful. Breakfast was fantastic - we had eggs, bread and jam, fruit, coffee or tea, all prepared at home. The family is lovely and the little boy is a character! I left my Kindle in our previous accommodation and the host helped me get it back which was such a relief! Laundry is done in-house and cleaning is available daily. The hosts also arranged a bamboo boat tour (not what we were expecting and absolutely unmissable) and arranged our bus to the next location. Thank you for a wonderful stay!
